The official name is "bluefin", which is a large marine sailfish with a spear shaped mouth. It is a species of tropical and subtropical oceanic upper water, with fierce nature, agile swimming, and carnivorous nature. The marlin prefers areas with higher water temperatures and feeds on mackerel and tuna. They also dive deep to eat squid. They are known for their ability to lift huge targets they hook onto, and this rare marine monster is the holy grail of sports loving fishermen. People regard their meat as a delicacy, especially in Japan, where it is often used as a raw material for sashimi.
