Andulir, formerly known as Naxir, is the sword of Elandir. It was forged by the most famous dwarf blacksmith, Tierha, in the Blue Mountains during the First Age. In the final battle of the alliance, Erandir died and Na'heer was broken in half. In the War of the Lord of the Rings of the Third Age, it was recast in the Deep Valley, and Aragon, the heir of Isildur, became its owner. He renamed it Andulir, which means "the flame of the West.".
