The Chinook CH-47 military transport helicopter is a twin-engine, twin-rotor heavy transport helicopter manufactured by Boeing. CH-47 Chinook helicopters have been in service with the U.S. Army since the 1960 s and are in widespread use worldwide. It has a strong transport capability, capable of carrying troops, vehicles, equipment and supplies, and can even carry out air rescue and medical evacuation missions.
