The name of the atomic bomb dropped by the United States in Nagasaki, Japan during World War II. The name is inspired by Churchill's physique. On August 9, 1945, three days after the first atomic bomb exploded in Hiroshima, the B-29 Superfortress bomber Bockscar, piloted by Charles Sweeney, was dropped over Nagasaki at a distance of 31000 feet (9000 meters). "Fatty" is the second nuclear weapon used in human history, and also the last nuclear weapon used in actual combat.
