Little Boy "is the name of the first atomic bomb dropped by the United States on Hiroshima, Japan during World War II. On August 6, 1945, the B-29 Superfortress bomber Enola Gay, piloted by Paul Tibbets, was dropped from an altitude of approximately 9.448km over Hiroshima and exploded in the air at approximately 548m at 8:15am local time in Japan.
