The armadillo is a mammal of the family Armadillidae in the order Odontopoda. Bony armor covers the outside of the head, body, tail, and legs. The bony armor of the head, front half, and rear half is separated, and the bony armor in the body is in a band shape, allowing for flexible movement; Sparse hair grows in areas without bony armor on the body; Strong claws grow on the front feet. The armadillo is named after its nine layered belt like structure. An armadillo can eat up to 100 kilograms of poisonous insects such as spiders, scorpions, ants, and beetles in a year, which has played a positive role in pest control to a certain extent.
