The Brazilian three band armadillo is a unique species of armadillo in Brazil. The shell is divided into three parts, with the front and back parts covered by a whole piece of bone scale that cannot be extended or retracted. The middle part of the scale forms a belt, which is connected to the muscles and can be freely extended or retracted. Can curl up the body into a ball shape to defend against natural enemies; Lifelong growth.
