Frisian sea snail, with white or brown shells, lives on the muddy and sandy seabed in shallow waters. The shell resembles a corner tower, with high and conical spirals and deep ribbed patterns. Most types are white, generally less than 5 centimeters (2 inches), and can expel a pink or light purple substance. Found in all oceans, living near sea anemones and feeding on their nutrients.
