Spiny snails are a type of animal belonging to the phylum Mollusca, with large and thick shells. The shell height is 125.1mm and the shell width is 103.0mm. The shell surface is yellow white. There are about 8 layers of spiral layers. The suture line is shallow. Each spiral layer has three longitudinal swollen ribs, on which there are thick and strong branching spines. There are about 7-10 clearly countable spines on the longitudinal ribs at the edge of the shell. There are nodular protrusions between the longitudinal swollen ribs. The shallow groove is flat and semi tubular, with usually three large spines on the right side.
