The Great Grizzly Bear, also known as Ursushorribis, is listed as a subspecies of brown bear (also known as Ursusarctoshorribis) and is the largest bear species after the polar bear and Kodiak brown bear. A typical adult grizzly bear is about 2.5 meters long, weighs 450 kilograms, and can even weigh up to 700 kilograms. The male bear has a shoulder height of about 1.3 meters when crawling and a height of about 2.7 meters when standing.
