It is a self-propelled rocket launcher system developed by the Brazilian Aerospace Industry Corporation. It was developed in the 1980 s and equipped with the Brazilian Army in 1983 for artillery surface saturation rocket attack missions. It can be equipped with three launch boxes of different calibers: 32 127mm rocket launch boxes, 16 180mm rocket launch boxes and 4 300mm rocket launch boxes, all using 10 tons (6 × 4) off-road vehicle chassis. The maximum range is 30km, 35km and 60km respectively, and it can attack targets within a depth of 9 to 60km, including artillery positions and cluster targets.
