It is a medium-range air defense missile system developed by Iran and first publicly demonstrated in 2014. The operational range is 50 to 200km and is capable of striking targets at an altitude of 25 to 30km. Using X-band active phased array radar, it can detect 100 targets at the same time, track 4 targets at the same time, and guide 2 missiles to attack one target. The shooting down of the US RQ-4 Global Hawk UAV on June 20, 2019, proved its operational capability. It is an important part of Iran's air defense system and demonstrates Iran's progress and autonomy in air defense technology.
