Shanru Dragon King, also known as Shannu Dragon King, is one of the Eight Dragon Kings in Japanese mythology - the Rain God Dragon. According to legend, the monk Konghai appeared as a dragon king in a famous rain competition in 824 AD. This statue is located at Longquan Temple in Mount Daifeng, Japan.
