It is a unique ecosystem, mainly distributed in areas near the equator. It is hot and humid all year round, the average annual temperature is usually between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius, the annual precipitation exceeds 2000mm, and the humidity is extremely high. It is characterized by dense vegetation and extremely rich biodiversity. The multi-level vegetation structure includes tall tree layer, shrub layer and ground layer, forming a complex vertical distribution. Tall trees form the canopy of the rainforest, blocking most of the sunlight and allowing plants in the forest understorey to grow in a relatively dark environment. This environment has nurtured countless plant and animal species, including many endemic and endangered species.
