The Bloodhound appeared in Europe long before the Holy War, with the first dog coming from Constantinople. There are two varieties: black and white. The black breed was the famous Saint Hubert Hound of the 8th century, while the white breed later became the famous Southern Hound. Black bloodline was imported into the UK. Both breeds play an important role in the development of other hunting dogs and hunting dog breeds. In the 12th century, the bishop at that time happened to use dogs as a means of transportation, and church elites were one of the initial personnel in cultivating bloodhounds for development. A large number of senior pastors feed a group of hunting dogs, and a dog farm is an important component of every monastery.
