The giant ring tailed lizard is a Japanese burrowing lizard. They are usually distributed in dry and rocky areas, inhabiting crevices or carved caves, and their habits and environment are very similar to some rock dwelling types of the king lizard. Animals such as crickets, bread worms, leafy vegetables, fruits, and flowers will all accept it. The environment for raising giant ring tailed lizards can be arranged with crawling sand as the substrate, and stacked rocks are sufficient. They also require a lot of sunlight, so high-quality UVB light is an indispensable equipment. In summer, 12-14 hours of light are needed every day.
