The double headed shark is a general term for fish in the family of double headed sharks, order Characiformes, phylum Chordates. The hammerhead shark, also known as the hammerhead shark, is named after its T-shaped head shape. The hammerhead shark is distributed in the Bohai Sea, Yellow Sea, East China Sea and other sea areas of China, as well as in the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Pacific Ocean. It often appears on beaches, bays, and estuaries. Previously, all eight subspecies of the hammerhead shark were included in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
