The Sturmgesch ü tz III was the most produced armored combat vehicle by Germany during World War II. It is manufactured based on the chassis of Tank No. 3. Germany initially planned to use mobile armored light artillery as infantry support. After continuous improvement and refinement, it was finally transformed into a tank fighter vehicle in 1942. Until the end of the war, Germany produced a total of 10500 No. 3 assault guns.
