The AH-64D Apache is a twin-scroll attack helicopter built by the Boeing Company of the United States. It has a tail-wheel landing gear and a tandem cockpit, and can accommodate two crew members. It is equipped with two General Electric T700-GE-701 turboshaft engines, each with a power of 1,265 kW. It was equipped with a 30mm M230 chain gun, mounted under the front of the fuselage. In addition, four hardpoints were equipped for carrying AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 rockets. Since its commissioning in 1986, it has served in numerous conflicts including Panama, the Persian Gulf, Kosovo, and Afghanistan.
