Triceratops is a herbivorous dinosaur belonging to the family Ceratopsidae in the order Ornithischia. It is a rhinoceros like dinosaur with a bulky appearance, thick legs, three horns on the head, a large bone plate extending backwards at the back of the skull, forming a neck shield, a short horn above the beak, and two long horns above the eye socket. The horns of the Triceratops are defensive weapons that can scare off predators, with a short and pointed tail and hoofed feet. Distributed in North America, it lived in the late Cretaceous period, approximately 68 to 65 million years ago. The Triceratops often utilizes the advantages of cluster living to protect their offspring; When facing enemies, they often bow their heads and use their horns to resist predators.
