It was a portable military communication device used by the Soviet Red Army at the end of World War II and the beginning of the war. Produced by different manufacturers in the Soviet Union, it is a superheterodyne receiver, which mainly works in the short-wave band and covers the frequency range of 1.5 to 5.0MHz. Suitable for mobile and portable (field) use. It was widely used in warfare, especially in communications at the regiment-division level. The design allows for local and remote control via telephone lines and field phones. Depending on the use of different antennas, the communication distance can vary from a few kilometers to hundreds of kilometers, depending on the propagation conditions. It was used in the Soviet Red Army until the early 1960 s.
