Sydney Opera House (English: Sydney Opera House), located in the northern Sydney Harbour of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (Bennelong Point), started construction in March 1959 and officially put into use on October 20, 1973. It is an Australian landmark building. In 2007, the Sydney Opera House was approved by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee as a cultural heritage included in the "World Heritage List."
