The wingspan of the Heavenly Phoenix Butterfly can reach 105mm. The front and rear wings, from the base angle to the (front) trailing edge, are approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of pure royal blue in color. They inhabit tropical continents and migrate seasonally in search of warmth and food. The wings of the Heavenly Phoenix Butterfly are beautiful and huge, shining with a pure blue luster on a black velvet background, as if descending from the sunny blue sky. Therefore, they are recognized by the local indigenous people as messengers from heaven and named "Heavenly Phoenix Butterfly". This butterfly is also a tourist symbol of Queensland, Australia.
