Kirschner's beaked whale, a mammal of the family Auchenipteridae in the order Cetaceae. Also known as Covey's beaked whale, goose beaked whale, Covey's whale, or goose beaked whale, it is usually not easily noticeable and is rarely observed at sea, but it is a widely distributed and numerous beaked whale. The Ko's beaked whale is also the mammal with the deepest diving depth, with a record high of 2992 meters, slightly higher than the sperm whale. It can hold its breath for up to 2 hours in the water. The Koch's beaked whale can be said to be found all over the world, mainly inhabiting deep waters from tropical to cold temperate zones.
