The weasel shark is a large shark belonging to the genus Weasel Shark in the order Shariformes. Weasel shark, distributed in the Yellow Sea, East China Sea, northeastern and southwestern waters of Taiwan, and South China Sea; Widely distributed worldwide between 40 degrees north and south latitude in various oceans. The weasel shark is a warm water shark with a fierce nature. The weasel shark is the only oviparous shark in the true shark class. Weasel sharks are considered to be more aggressive sharks, although they usually avoid humans, they may also exhibit aggressive behavior when humans cross or dive within their territory. The feeding habits of the weasel shark have earned it the title of "trash can in the sea".
