The Gomphotherium, also known as the Triodontium or Tetraodontium, is an extinct genus of long nosed animals. The chimera lived between 2 to 3 million years ago, in Europe (including France, Germany, and Austria) during the early Miocene to early Miocene, North America (Kansas, USA), Asia (Pakistan), and Africa (Kenya). Mainly living in forests Low lands in river and lake areas.
