Cows are mammals of the family Bovidae and genus Bovidae in the order Artiodactyla. They are tall and have a symmetrical structure, thin skin, less fat, and short capillaries. Their fur color is often obvious black and white or yellow. Chinese Holstein cattle is the main breed of dairy cattle in China, currently distributed throughout the country, mainly in northern grassland areas such as Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, and Xinjiang, while other areas are distributed in urban suburbs and some suburban rural areas. Raising cows mainly relies on roughage, silage, energy feed, and protein feed. Adding flavorings such as spices, saccharin sodium, sodium glutamate, and organic acids to the feed can increase the feed intake and milk production of cows.
