It is an American luxury sedan produced between 1977 and 1979. As a member of the Lincoln Mark series, it is renowned for its unique design and luxurious features. It is a two door four seater hardtop coupe that no longer shares the same chassis as the contemporaneous Thunderbird model. Instead, it has been redesigned on the old chassis and the interior has been styled, but miraculously, it is 500 pounds lighter than the previous generation. The power has been adjusted to meet the requirements of emissions and fuel economy, equipped with a 6.6-liter engine, and the maximum power has been reduced to 166 horsepower at the end. In the final model year, the 7.5-liter engine was even eliminated.
