Frogs are amphibians belonging to the family Ranidae, with a slightly triangular head that grows wider than a wide one. They have large and protruding eyes, short forelimbs with blunt toes and short and thick hind limbs with fully webbed toes. Their backs are rough. They are most common and abundant in the plains and hills of North and South China, and are suitable for amphibious living.
