They are part of the ancient tradition of making metal castings, especially in the circles of old believers (old ritualists) in modern Russia. This type of metal product is often seen as a manifestation of the difference between the old believers and the decrees of Tsar Peter I in 1722 and 1723. Currently housed in the Krakow National Museum in Poland.
