This is a ceramic tile from Shitatou, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, made around the Song Dynasty. Wadang refers to the obstruction of the front end of the tube tiles covering the eaves of ancient Chinese architecture; The entire piece of tile at the front end of the eaves can also be called a tile, with a patterned hanging circular guard on the tile surface. This tile is currently housed in the Juchang Museum at the University of Tokyo, Japan.
