The medal is a ribbon with the national color, made of silver, with a diameter of 3.8 centimeters, and was made in 1900. The city of Berndorf is located in the Tristan Valley on the edge of the Vienna Forest in Lower Austria, Austria. Due to its historical development in the 19th century, it is also known as the city of Krupp.
