The statue of Roy, the high priest of Amon, is a very important cultural relic. This statue is made of granite diorite, with a height of 113 centimeters, and was made in the 1220s BC. Roy was the high priest of Amon during the reigns of Ramses II, Merenpta, and Seti II during the 19th Dynasty of ancient Egypt. He commissioned the production of several of his own statues, four of which were discovered in Kanak. This statue is now housed in the British Museum.
