Chrysanthemum is an extinct marine mollusk belonging to the cephalopod class. They lived on Earth during the Mesozoic period, approximately 250 to 65 million years ago, mainly distributed in the oceans. The shape of ammonite resembles a spiral flat disk, consisting of a series of spiral shaped chambers. Their shells are usually composed of calcium and can be preserved as fossils. The size range of ammonites is wide, ranging from tiny species that are only a few millimeters in size to giant species with a diameter exceeding 2 meters.
