This pharaoh seated giant statue stands 10 feet tall, weighs nearly 9 tons, and has a history of 4000 years. It was discovered in Tanis in the early 19th century and entered the Berlin Museum collection in 1837. This statue is likely believed to be Amenim Hart II. Amunemhat II was the third king of the 12th Dynasty, from around 2010 BC to 1640 BC, which was the heyday of ancient Egyptian art.
