The Hindu god Shiva appears in several incarnations. Here, Shiva appears as the King of Dance. He raised his left foot in an elegant dance posture. In his upper right hand, Nataraja held a drum, and the sound of the drum reflected creativity. The flame in his upper left hand symbolizes destruction. They collectively symbolize the creation and destruction of the universe. The palm positions in the bottom left and bottom right of the icon indicate protection. The foot placed on the demon's back symbolizes eliminating ignorance, while the raised left foot symbolizes redemption. A now missing fire ring, symbolizing the simultaneous and ongoing creation and destruction of the universe, will surround the bronze statue.
