The Musee des Arts et M é tiers is a museum showcasing the history of technology and industrial development, located in the third arrondissement of Paris. This is a statue made of cast iron, about 2.8 meters high, weighing about 450 kilograms, and is one sixteenth the size of the Statue of Liberty. It was made with the help of Gustav Eiffel in 1881 and is now located in the front yard of the museum. It is based on the original model of the Statue of Liberty sent by France to the United States.
