Broch of Gurness is an Iron Age village located in the western Orkney Islands of Scotland, with a history of approximately 2000 years. This roughly chiseled lamp was once filled with oil and could provide light from the slowly burning wick. Discovered in the Iron Age settlement of Broch of Gurness.
