A historic building located in the center of Baltimore, Maryland, USA, has been part of the city's skyline since 1911. Originally built by Emerson Pharmaceuticals as its BromoSeltzer headache medicine factory, the tower's design inspiration came from the old palace in Florence. Up to 15 floors, it was once the tallest building in Baltimore city. The clock in the tower was once one of the largest gravity clocks in the world, with four huge dials. This tower is not only a cultural symbol of Baltimore, but also an important venue for urban innovation and artistic activities.
