The EOS M50 Mark II uses APS-C large format image sensors, which have advantages in displaying background blur effects. The larger the area of the image sensor, the easier it is to achieve a noticeable background blur effect. When shooting with a telephoto focus close to the subject or using a large aperture lens with a large aperture, a natural and soft blurring effect can be achieved. A large-sized image sensor with approximately 24.1 million effective pixels, paired with a DIGIC 8 digital image processor, can not only finely restore the details of the subject, but also record the rich layers of the subject.
