The Athyma selenophora (Latin name: Athyma selenophora) is a species of butterfly in the family Nymphalidae, distributed in Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, and Fujian. Belonging to a multi generational butterfly species. Adult butterflies have a habit of visiting flowers, and in the early stages of larvae, they have a habit of wrapping silk around feces particles to make rod-shaped "feces towers" to hide.
