The Dark veined Cabbage Butterfly, also known as the Mountain Green veined Butterfly, is a species of butterfly in the family Papilionidae. The veins on the wings are particularly prominent, especially in the upper wing section. The basic color of females ranges from yellow to grayish brown. In some cases, males are almost indistinguishable because sexual dimorphism is almost non-existent. In some cases, the entire outer edge of the forewings has a black gray band. The ends of the veins on the hind wings may enlarge to form dark triangles. Summer generations have lighter colors than spring generations, and overall, the forewings are lighter than the hindwings, and the veins are not as distinct. The wingspan is approximately 4 to 4.4 centimeters.
