Alsace is a character in Blizzard's large-scale multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft and its derivative works. Arthas Menethil was a prince of the Kingdom of Lordaeron and a member of the Order of the Silver Hand. He was the son and crown prince of King Menethil II, trained as a paladin by Uther the Lightbringer. Despite having a bright future at the beginning, Alsace ultimately became the most powerful and evil entity in Azeroth's history. After picking up the cursed Frostmourne, he became a Death Knight of the Scourge Legion and led the army of undead to destroy Lordaeron, Quel'Thalas, and Dalaran.
