The official name of Deathwing of the Destroyer is Earth Guardian Nazario, one of the five guardian dragons and the leader of the Black Dragon Legion. Thousands of years ago, Nazario was bestowed with the divine power of the Titans, possessing the power to rule the earth and the supreme position of Azeroth. However, being bewitched by the ancient gods and plunged into madness, he betrayed other guardian dragons in the ancient war and ultimately abandoned his title as the guardian of the earth, becoming the guardian of death. Among mortals and dragons, his name has become synonymous with fear and contempt.
