It is a legendary racing car in NASCAR history, driven by Richard Petty, known as the "king". This car helped Petty win his third NASCAR Grand Prix championship in 1971 and became the first driver in his career to earn over $1 million in total prize money. Not only was it Petty's tank that won 21 races in the 1971 season, but it was also his only car that visited the White House, which happened in September 1971 when US President Nixon invited him to a reception for automotive racing figures. Equipped with a reconstructed 426 cubic inch V8 Hemi engine and a single four barrel carburetor.
