The Porsche 356 is the first model in Ferdinand Porter's design to be named after Porsche. The 356 has a narrow body, simple structure, and even no decorative strips. But it adopts a lightweight air-cooled engine, with a low center of gravity and good durability. Due to the engine being placed in the middle, the front nose of the car can be made very low, so the field of view is very good. The frame adopts a new type of steel pipe structure, with a curb weight of only 585 kilograms.
