The sawtooth shovel beetle (scientific name: Prosopocoilus inclinatus), also known as the sawtooth shovel beetle, is a species of insect in the family Spatulidae. Distributed in Japan and South Korea. The sawblade beetle is named after its serrated, curved jaws resembling horns of a cow, which may have evolved to compete with the unicorn beetle for resin. The larval stage lasts for 1-3 years, while the pupal stage lasts for over a month. The male size of the adult is 26-74.5 millimeters, while the female size is 19.5-41 millimeters.
