The giraffe saw shovel is a type of insect in the Shoveluridae family, with a long upper jaw and serrated teeth. The giraffe saw shovel lives in Southeast Asia. The body length is 4-12 centimeters. In shovel armor, it has the longest upper jaw and the sharpest serrations. There are two forks at the end of the upper jaw, and the teeth on both sides are asymmetrical and slightly curved. The internal protruding teeth of the upper jaw may appear aggressive, but in fact, the biting force is not strong. The tooth tips may appear sharp, but in reality, they are easy to break. There is also a glossy black shell. However, female insects do not have upper jaws, while young males enjoy fighting. The male's tooth roots are highly destructive and can cause certain injuries to various shovels.
