Honeysuckle, officially named Lonicera japonica. The name "Honeysuckle" comes from the Compendium of Materia Medica, and is named after the white color of honeysuckle flowers that first bloom and then turn yellow. The medicinal herb Lonicera japonica is a plant of the Lonicera family, including Lonicera japonica and other plants of the same genus. It has dry flower buds or initial blooming flowers. Honeysuckle blooms in March and comes out in five. It has a slight fragrance and a reddish stem. When the flower first blooms, it turns white, and after one or two days, it turns yellow, hence the name honeysuckle. Also, because of one stem and two flowers, with two stamens protruding from the outside, they form pairs and are inseparable, resembling the companionship of male and female, and also resembling the dance of mandarin ducks, it is called the Mandarin Duck Vine.
