Coarse naked rib coral is a species of animal in the naked rib coral genus of the naked rib coral family. Coral skeletons are branched, with short and wide branches that can fuse with each other, and the top is a bifurcated fan-shaped structure. The valleys between the ridges on the surface of non coral cups are discontinuous and shallow. There are flat axial columns at the bottom of the valley, or protrusions on the axial columns. The septa are slightly protruding, with the main and secondary septa arranged alternately. The edges of the septa have teeth and particles on both sides. 6-9 septa are connected to the axial column, and they are pink yellow or rouge red in color during daily life. Distributed domestically in Hainan Island, China.
